Single seaters are designed to give you the most realistic experience of driving a Formula 1 car. Sitting just a couple of inches off the ground there is a great sense of speed that will have you smiling. Silverstone's bespoke, race-prepared cars produce 140bhp and can accelerate from 0-60mph in less than five seconds. But that's only half the story. The astonishing handling ability will shatter your senses as you speed through the corners. After a driving techniques briefing from one of Silverstone's top race school instructors, you will be ready to head off for a few laps behind a pace car. This is where you can quickly familiarise yourself with the car before being let loose to see what you can do. Be warned, driving these cars are seriously addictive and you will definitely want to come back for more! The person driving the car will be required to sign a disclaimer accepting liability in the event of damage to the vehicle. The driver will be given an option to purchase damage waiver cover when booking to minimise their financial exposure should there be an accident.
