Accompanied at all times by your instructor, you will get the chance to take the controls yourself and learn how to move off and stop smoothly. There will be plenty of opportunity to hone your skills during the day before the grand climax as you gently ‘buffer up’ the engine to a 25 ton brake van. Also includes a visit to the signal box and a tour of the locomotive yard.
