This simple yet effective oval design is then carried on further down the glass, the ovals here are portrait, these flow into the bottom of the flute of which is clear and has been etched to create a number of diamond shapes all linked together, giving the glass a raised texture. The flutes are beautifully crafted into the stem, of which is very unusual to the eye with its six sides, before forming the base. Here you will find an etched ‘flower’ design. Waterford has extremely high standards and every piece of their work is checked on average four times to ensure it is in perfect condition.
